The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio conducts clinical studies to evaluate experimental treatments and therapies. Many studies are open to persons who fit specific profiles.

The university's Cancer Therapy & Research Center runs clinical trials that focus on Phase I and Phase II anti-cancer therapies.
